Community Access

Bring community perspectives into the decisions that affect them, with a clear route from listening to action.

Community engagement with a decision at its centre.

Community Access is a flexible approach to structured dialogue between organisations and faith, belief and community representatives. It is designed around a real question or service decision, not consultation for its own sake.

CultivIQ convenes and facilitates the conversation, helps identify themes and translates what is heard into practical insight for the commissioning organisation. Decisions and accountability remain with that organisation.

Ways to work together.

Focused engagement

Listening circles

A facilitated conversation with relevant community voices around a defined challenge, followed by an insight summary and priorities.

Shared understanding

Community dialogue programmes

A sequence of structured conversations that helps organisations test assumptions, hear different experiences and develop informed responses.

Continuity

Ongoing community intelligence

Agreed follow-up conversations and advisory input so community perspectives can inform decisions as needs change.

How it works.

  1. Define the decisionAgree the issue, who needs to be heard and what is open to change.
  2. Design the engagementAgree participation, accessibility, confidentiality and safeguarding arrangements.
  3. Listen and interpretFacilitate dialogue without treating any participant as a spokesperson for an entire community.
  4. Record and respondProvide an agreed insight summary and recommendations or a decision record, depending on scope.

Delivery is scoped and quoted for each organisation. Community Access is not a representative survey or a substitute for statutory consultation.
